I’m writing a report about Abdulla Tariq ID: H00247490. It was in Room C001 at 12:03 p.m. & he stayed explaining till 12:20 p.m. Abdulla Tariq started talking about Abraham Lincoln and his problems which was about the civil war between the southern and northern states of America; they fought because the southern states didn’t want to free the slaves because Abraham Lincoln wanted to the free the slaves and so in that way Abraham Lincoln’s laws would affect the southern states. Abraham Lincoln wanted to free everyone & make them live equally & that made a huge impact on America & the world; then he talked about how he was assassinated on April 15, 1865 at 7:22  by a guy called john Wilkes Booth. From what he talked about he was well prepared and self-confident and he made us all as listeners know a summary about Abraham Lincoln life’s in just 17 minutes; he made us have an idea about Abraham Lincoln & his goals and what did he want to achieve. In conclusion he said Abraham Lincoln had a huge impact on the world and he wanted to end slavery.  He used around 6 references in APA style. He was talking loudly and clearly about his topic. He made a small famous speech before starting his presentation which was what Abraham Lincoln said. He use hand gestures, talked fluently without stuttering. He had a small paper note that he used and he had  good eye contact with the audience.

Photos By Me

The student Saeed AlKathiri ID: H00232957 started his presentation in room C001 at this time 10:54 on May 5^th 2013. He started by saying good morning; he introduced his topic very well; the topic’s name was: Photos By Me. He was smiling and very confident. Saeed used good hand gestures. He had good eye contact with the audience; he stood at the side of the screen which gave us a clear vision of the presentation & he was talking clearly with a loud voice which made people who are sitting behind to hear him very well. Saeed seems to have practiced presenting the power point many times at home. He didn’t use a note card that would help somehow; as well he didn’t read from the screen and in my opinion his presentation and the way of him speaking shows that he was well organized. All the time while he was presenting he was smiling and looking so confident about what he was saying; he had good English but not perfect with a few mistakes with pronouncing some words. However it was creative and he attracted us to learn more about photography & how to shoot pictures. He said taking pictures needs patience and a quiet space.

Reflection

It was very useful making this agenda with my colleagues; I have learned many things. We discussed about which topic we are going to talk about & we decided to talk about pollution. We chose this topic based on the world’s environment situation right now which is very bad & nowadays many industrial companies produce products & on the other hand they produce a large chemical cloud that pollutes the environment and harms human beings' health. We settled up a time and a place for the meeting plus we made a well thought-out agenda & about how we're going to try and reduce the pollution rate in the world. We did the meeting and shared the task of speech fairly among all group members. I as chairmen was shocked by my group’s power plus I had fun working with them and they were creative by making solutions. I started the meeting by welcoming the group. We covered all the things that were stated in the agenda. We had many ideas to help reduce the pollution rate. My group kept giving many solutions and trying to come up with the best solution to help the future from pollution; the proposal was to reduce the pollution, not to stop it eventually; we can’t stop it but at least we can reduce the harm on human beings' health and environment threats. In the end I ended the meeting by thanking the group for joining the meeting.
